These terms and conditions apply to services provided by MamaTech / MamaNest Inc. (“MamaTech” or “we” or “us”) for the event “Moms Who Build with AI — A Confidence & Creativity Studio” at Tech Week Montréal 2025 (the “Event”).

These terms are in addition to our Website Disclaimer and Privacy Policy and apply to the registration, participation, and any materials provided as part of the Event. By registering for the Event, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, you must not attend the Event.
Event Materials – Any slides, handouts, software, templates, guides, or recordings provided during the Event.
Participant / You – The individual registering for and/or attending the Event.
Fees – The cost paid by the Participant for attending the Event.
Intellectual Property Rights – Copyright, trademarks, designs, patents, or other rights relating to the Event Materials or content.
Community – Any forums, chat groups, or digital platforms associated with the Event.
2.1. The Event offers hands-on workshops, breakout tracks (Career, Language, Productivity), generative AI demos, and supportive networking for immigrant moms.
2.2. We aim to provide the Event with reasonable skill and care, but we do not guarantee a particular career outcome, language proficiency, or productivity improvement.
2.3. We reserve the right to modify the Event agenda, speakers, or activities as needed.
3.1. Registration is completed via our online platform. Participants must provide accurate personal information.
3.2. Your registration becomes binding once we confirm your spot via email and receive full payment.
3.3. Event capacity is limited to 60 moms, first-come, first-served.
4.1. Participants may cancel within 14 calendar days of registration for a full refund.
4.2. After this period, refunds may be granted at our discretion. Please email [email protected] for cancellation requests.
4.3. If the Event is canceled by MamaTech, all registered Participants will receive a full refund.
5.1. Fees for the Event are as listed at the time of registration and include access to all materials, workshops, and certificate of completion.
5.2. Fees must be paid in full prior to attending the Event.
5.3. Any bank or payment processing fees are the Participant’s responsibility.
6.1. Participants must behave respectfully toward other attendees, facilitators, and staff.
6.2. No advertising, solicitation, or sharing of external links is allowed in the Event or community platforms without prior permission.
6.3. MamaTech reserves the right to remove any Participant from the Event or community for violations of conduct, without refund.
7.1. Event Materials and demonstrations are for educational purposes only. We do not provide legal, medical, or financial advice.
7.2. We are not responsible for any indirect, special, or consequential losses arising from your participation.
7.3. Liability is limited to the Event Fees paid.
7.4. Nothing limits liability for death, personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud.
8.1. All Event Materials are the property of MamaTech and may not be copied, shared, or sold without permission.
8.2. Participants are granted a limited, non-transferable license to use Event Materials for personal learning only.
9.1. Participants must respect the confidentiality of other attendees’ shared information.
9.2. MamaTech may use Participant names and testimonials for marketing with consent, which can be withdrawn at any time.
10.1. MamaTech may remove a Participant from the Event for non-payment, aggressive behavior, fraud, or breach of terms.
10.2. Clauses on liability, intellectual property, and confidentiality survive termination.
11.1. We collect and use Participant data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
11.2. Data may be processed via third-party platforms (e.g., Circle, Spiffy) to manage registration and community access.
11.3. You may request access, corrections, or deletion of your data by emailing [email protected].
MamaTech is not liable for cancellations or changes due to causes beyond our control, including natural disasters, illness, travel disruptions, or government restrictions.
This Agreement is governed by Canadian law. Participants submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of Canadian courts in connection with any dispute.
